The Walk ABOUT was invented when our son decided to join a 4H club and purchased 2 goats to show at the County Fair. We were like most people that had never been around goats, thinking surly this will be an easy project. Boy were we surprised. After weeks of pulling and pushing the two goats our son lost all interests in working with the animals and so did we (the parents). We knew there had to be a better way to teach these animals how to be led, and receive the exercise they needed to build muscle tone on a daily bases.
After much research we discovered that there was three types of exercise equipment on the market, price ranging from $375.00 to $4,000.
This being our first time to own goats and not sure if our son would stick to showing, we decided we didn’t want to spend that much money just to exercise the animals. This is when the birth of the Walk About took place.
Up to three goats or sheep can be walked or ran at one time with the walk about saving hours of stress from the traditional exercise of the owner walking and running for an hour a day.
The walk about is made to last a life time, constructed from Carbon Steal and painted a nice shade of blue.

The WALK ABOUT is adjustable in height to fit small, medium and large goats and sheep. Just attach the WALK ABOUT to your riding lawn mower, adjust the height and hook your animals to the rings, and your ready to go.
Caution --- When using any type of exercise equipment with goats or sheep, pay close attention to your animals. These animals are know to sometimes have a stubborn streak and will refuse to walk, and will plant their feet firmly into the ground. Without paying close attention to the animal this could result in a broken leg or worse.
After the animal has spent time with the exercise equipment, they know what to expect, and lessens to chance of being hurt and will walk freely.
Never run your animal the first few times you attach them to any kind of exercise equipment. Allow them to get use to the change of forcible walking before you introduce them to something new, (like running).
Take it slow, it’s like teaching a baby how to walk, the next thing you know your animal will be running and will have beautiful muscle tone to show off at your next fair or show.
